ITI Fund, established by 4M Group, is a fund that aims to support startups and foster the growth of Vietnam’s startup ecosystem. The fund is currently investing in a diverse range of industries, with a particular focus on projects that leverage local resources, create products with a distinct Vietnamese identity, and deliver social value and sustainable development.
Vietnipa, founded by Phan Minh Tien, has recognized the immense potential of the nipa tree and has successfully conducted research to develop products from its nectar. The resulting coconut honey is a highly nutritious product, rich in vitamins, antioxidant compounds, amino acids, and mineral salts. With a wide range of products available in varying types and volumes, Vietnipa is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for safe, natural nutrition.
According to Mr. Ngo Dinh Dat, Managing Director of ITI Fund, the reason for investing in Vietnipa is due to their innovative approach to utilizing the nipa tree. By extracting honey from the coconut stalk using massage techniques, Vietnipa is able to create nutritious food and increase the economic value for the local community. Additionally, Mr. Phan Minh Tien and his team share the same values and motto as ITI Fund, which is to improve the position of Vietnamese products both domestically and internationally in a sustainable way for the community.
Aside from providing investment capital, ITI Fund also offers strategic, financial, legal, and marketing advice to Vietnipa, which helps them create a competitive advantage and promote growth. This support also helps Vietnipa perfect their operating system, build their brand, and recruit talented employees. Through the process of working with ITI Fund, both sides have realized the value of sustainable development and promoting the values of Vietnamese products, which has laid the foundation for their cooperation.
Mr. Dat hopes that through their investment capital and strategic cooperation with Vietnipa, the two sides can work closely together to develop high-value products from the nipa palm trees. This will not only increase economic benefits for local people but also contribute to the protection of the riverine ecosystems of Can Gio peninsula, which is known as the green lung of Ho Chi Minh City. By promoting sustainable development, ITI Fund and Vietnipa aim to raise the status of Vietnamese products both domestically and internationally.
