Under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), The Business Forum Magazine has organized the National Startup Project Development Program since 2002. In which, the Startup Festival is considered the biggest event of this series of activities.

This program aims to honor and uphold the spirit of entrepreneurship among young people and create a premise for start-up projects with practical value, promoting the role of businesses and entrepreneurs to develop the economy of the country. Startup Festival attracted the participation of leaders of ministries, sectors, localities, entrepreneurs, organizations, and a large number of students from universities and colleges across the country.

About 6,000 startup projects from young people all over the country have been sent to the program, and many of them successfully implemented. Startup Festival creates jobs and makes positive contributions to society. In 2020, nearly 600 projects from 30 provinces, cities, and more than 40 universities were sent. This program is coordinated with start-up support organizations to promote a series of activities across the country, such as connecting and training startup mentors, consulting on building a startup ecosystem, training TOT lecturers, school and regional project advisors, organizing programs to select the best projects to participate in the national competition.
